Endorsing a luxury watch brand is a highly covetable feat, and it can take years before a celebrity becomes a friend of the brand or a well-paid ambassador. Sometimes, it solely depends on the celebrity’s accomplishments in their line of work. If they catapult to success, it’ll carry forward to the men’s luxury watches they’re endorsing as they step into the limelight.

Take, for instance, Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who recently became the face of Swiss brand Zenith Watches. Backed by luxury conglomerate LVMH, this decision sure seems strategic to put Zenith on the map amongst its better-known peers.
Another example is Jon Hamm’s (rather, Don Draper’s) rendezvous with Jaeger LeCoultre’s Reverso Classique timepiece. The TV show Mad Men collaborated with the luxury watch brand to showcase their classics. But the lines blurred for Hamm as Draper became synonymous with the timeless reversible watch.
Nevertheless, endorsing a luxury watch is a sheer privilege. And these actors and athletes have certainly worked hard to prove their mettle. Ahead, we bring you five celebrities and the men’s luxury watches they have recently endorsed.
Men’s luxury watches: Benedict Cumberbatch and Jaeger-LeCoultre
Award-winning British actor Benedict Cumberbatch (top image) has been a friend of the maison for many years now. So it’s not surprising that his endorsements include Jaeger-LeCoultre’s most-prized masterpieces: the Polaris Mariner Memovox and the Reverso Tribute Nonantième.
To honour the Polaris collection, the British star appeared in a short film, In A Breath, shot on a New Zealand island. There he teases the high-performance 300-meter diving watch while taking a dip in the water. The sporty-elegant Polaris Mariner Memovox carries forward the legacy of the Memovox, which was launched in 1950 as the first professional diving alarm watch.

Meanwhile, the limited-edition Reverso Tribute Nonantième watch (inspired by the brand’s renowned 1931 Reverso model) borders more on timeless style and refined elegance. The front of the watch displays the time, date, and moon phases, while the reverse side reveals a dramatic digital hour display and a day-night indicator. Have a look to see how Cumberbatch effortlessly styled both watches.

Jon Hamm and Jaeger LeCoultre
American actor Jon Hamm is another taker for Jaeger LeCoultre’s Reverso Classique timepiece. Popular as the fictional character Don Draper from the TV series Mad Men, Hamm often wore the flippable watch on the show. Some might even draw a parallel between how well-suited the two-sided timepiece was for his two-sided personality as Draper! Featuring a reversible 18k yellow gold case with a brown alligator leather strap, the watch is as functional and stylish as it was when it was first launched in the 1930s.
Interestingly, Mad Men collaborated with Jaeger LeCoultre so that Draper had access to the Reverso Classique. But before the show could introduce this timeless timepiece into the storyline, Draper wore the Jaeger LeCoultre Memovox, the brand’s starter watch. Check out both the vintage styles ahead.

Patrick Dempsey and Tag Heuer
For actor and race car driver Patrick Dempsey, one Tag Heuer watch simply does not suffice. The Tag Heuer ambassador has long been endorsing different versions of the TAG Heuer models Monaco, Autavia and Carrera. All of those carry a common thread of showcasing unparalleled functionality and peak innovation as a motorsport watch.
The Monaco Calibre 11 he sports is the first-ever square and waterproof automatic chronograph in the world. Perhaps his interest in this racing timepiece was sparked by race car driver Steve McQueen, who donned the style in the film Le Mans in 1969.

His other favourite, the Autavia model, has its roots in automobiles as well as aviation. Though it exudes a vintage feel, it’s a modern three-hand watch of extreme precision featuring the cutting-edge Calibre 5 movement. Looking at these men’s luxury watches, which one is your favourite?

Daniel Craig and Omega
British actor Daniel Craig has been a longtime friend of Omega. Their journey began in the 2006 James Bond movie, Casino Royale, where he wore two classic Seamaster iterations: the blue wave dial Seamaster Diver 300M and the rubber strap Planet Ocean.
Soon enough, Craig became the face of the Seamaster Diver 300M. He also shot an exclusive campaign for the latest edition of the watch that you can see here.

For his last portrayal of Bond in the upcoming movie No Time To Die, Craig will be spotted wearing a titanium edition of the Seamaster Diver 300M that he helped design for Omega. This special timepiece features a master chronometer and resilient grade 2 titanium, and it’s surely worth the attention of connoisseurs of men’s luxury watches!
