True watch enthusiasts know of the watch-making prowess of brands out of Glashütte. And NOMOS Glashütte is one of the brands in this town that has made its mark in the watch industry.
Stylish limited edition NOMOS
The limited edition NOMOS Tetra neomatik – 175 Years Watchmaking Glashütte collection is colourful, bold, and like all things from this company, is well made and stylish. Within the NOMOS, the Tetra collection stands out for its edgy square shape stainless steel case. That’s a welcomed break away from the traditional round cases that dominate the industry.
The four dial colour options for this collection are off-white, red, blue and black. For the more conservative among us (like myself) the choice between the off-white and black should be easy winners. But even I must admit, the bolder red and blue options are stunning. And I would have to give it some considerable thought over which one I would choose. But choose wisely, as each colour is limited to only 175 pieces.
NOMOS edition Tetra neomatik – 175 Years Watchmaking Glashütte collection: Precise in-house movement
Even more impressive than your colour options is the movement powering these watches. Every watch is fitted with the new automatic calibre DUW 3001 that can be admired through the sapphire crystal case back. This highly precise in-house movement has 43-hour power reserve, Glashütte three-quarter plate with ribbing, and each calibre is engraved with a limited number in gold.
Moreover, this new movement is slimmer. That allows for the Tetra case to have a slimmer profile giving you a more comfortable fit on the wrist and a more pleasing aesthetic.
The limited edition NOMOS Tetra neomatik – 175 Years Watchmaking Glashütte collection brings you new exciting colours while maintaining the distinctively NOMOS qualities. The dial layout, typography, and overall design still echo the brand’s ethos. And the straps for the watches are made from the familiar brown Horween shell cordovan leather. Like always, you will get a high-quality, precise, and stylish timepiece.
Great value for your money
It will be hard to find a better watch at this price point, as NOMOS is staying true to their brand philosophy – even with limited editions – of great watches at reasonable prices. On a brown leather strap, each watch is only $5,180 CAD. The only question left is, what colour should you choose.
