If you look at a list of the top 10 luxury vehicles sold in Canada last year, you’ll notice that two-door sports coupes were noticeably absent.

But that’s not to say that there’s no viable market for traditional 2-door sports coupes. The most popular 2-door sports coupe in Canada is the venerable Ford Mustang. If you’d prefer something more upscale, there are many options. And you don’t have to break the bank for one either.

2021 Mercedes-AMG E53
If you’re familiar with the brand, you’ll notice that the Mercedes-AMG E53 sports coupe has a new front-end design for the 2021 model year. It features an AMG-specific radiator grille, flatter all-LED headlights, and A-shaped bumper.
The coupe has a 3.0-litre 6-cylinder inline engine with an exhaust gas turbocharger and electric auxiliary compressor. It also reaches a top speed of 210 km/h or 250 km/h with the AMG Driver’s Package option, generates 429 hp, and produces 384 ft-lb of peak torque.
2022 Lexus LC
With its high-performance platform, naturally aspirated 5.0-litre V8 or multi-stage hybrid powertrain, and driver-focused cockpit, this 2-door coupe is designed to be responsive. The LC 500 comes with 471 hp, 10-speed direct-shift automatic transmission, and more.

2022 BMW 8 Series Coupe

Porsche 718 Cayman GT4
