King Charles’ Watch: Parmigiani Fleurier

by | Apr 9, 2023 | Style, Watches

The Royals are very much in the news. The coronation of King Charles is fast approaching – May 6. As part of the celebration, the first official portrait of the new king was released. It features his favourite watch – Parmigiani Fleurier Toric Chronograph. The Toric Collection is Maison’s founding piece, which debuted 1996, the first timepiece designed by Michel Parmigiani.

“Prestige” is what comes to mind when looking at its complications. That includes the chronograph, perpetual calendar, cathedral minute repeater, up to the “wandering hours” time display of the Toric Capitole. Unique and timeless, it certainly caught the eye of the new king. Unfortunately the piece is no longer available. However there is a different Toric available, the Toric Hemispheres Retrograde Rose Gold, which you can check out here, for $41,000 USD.
