In the U.S., the Aston Martin is approved under the “Show or Display” exemption, allowing limited road use (typically up to 2,500 miles per year) due to its extreme performance and non-compliance with some standard emissions or safety regulations. They are allowed on the streets of the U.S. provided they weren’t originally manufactured for the U.S. market. The vehicle must be considered significant enough to be in the public interest for display.

Many high-performance supercars, like certain models of the Pagani Zonda, were never sold in the U.S. because they couldn’t meet the federal safety standards. The Show or Display exemption allows collectors and enthusiasts to legally import and enjoy these vehicles.

How Exclusive Is the Aston Martin Valkyrie AMR Pro, and How Many Were Made?

The Valkyrie AMR Pro is highly exclusive, with production limited to 40 units plus two prototypes, all of which were sold before production began. Initially, only 25 units were planned, but the number was increased to 40 due to demand.
