Habanos S.A. reported revenues of USD$827 million for its Cuban cigar products in 2024, the company has announced. That represents a 16% year-over-year jump. Habanos markets 27 brands of Cuban cigars in over 130 countries, across all five continents. Last year, China, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingson and Germany were the markets that led the charge in sales revenue. On a regional level, Europe had a 54% market share, followed by Asia Pacific (24%), America (12%) and Africa and Middle East (10%).
Habanos S.A. introduced 33 new products at both global and regional events in 2024. Among the most notable launches are those presented under the so-called “Trinidad year”, such as Trinidad Cabildos Edición Limitada 2024, Trinidad Robustos Extra and the special Trinidad Fundadores Vintage 10 humidors, and other specialties such as Montecristo Brillantes Año Nuevo Chino del Dragón, Quai D’Orsay Especial D’Orsay, Cohiba Vistosos or the other two Limited Editions 2024: H. Upmann Magnum Finite Edición Limitada 2024, and Ramón Allones Absolutos.
Leading the way at the just-completed XXV Festival del Habano was the launch of Romeo y Julieta Amantes (53 ring gauge and 153 mm length), making the vitola’s 150th anniversary. This limited production vitola features a thick ring gauge and unique dimensions within the brand portfolio. It will be marketed worldwide in a box of 20 units and a special gift pack of 5 Habanos, designed to commemorate a century history of the brand.
