The calendar turns to the new year and that means car enthusiasts turn their attention to international car shows. This weekend the Chicago Auto Show is going on, today through Feb. 19. McCormick Place is the location. First staged in 1901, the Chicago Auto Show is described as the largest auto show in North America, featuring multiple world and North American introductions, a complete range of domestic and imported cars, trucks, SUVs, minivans and concept cars. More than two dozen manufacturers are represented at the show, with nearly 1,000 different vehicles on display. On the luxury end look for the Lamborghini Sterrato, Aston Martin DB 12, Bentley Continental GT, Maserati Grecale, Rolls-Royce Ghost, the Cadillac Lyriq and many others.
