With his MLS soccer team, Inter Miami, led by Lionel Messi, making a run for a playoff spot, David Beckham still managed to find some time to participate in the opening of Maserati’s first new concept store in the UK, in Hatfield. Maserati Hatfield joins a growing portfolio of H.R. Owen Maserati sites. The new, 110,000 site includes five showrooms, three workshops, event space and offices.
With the VIPs in attendance, there was a celebration of the GranTurismo coupe, with a blue Trofeo taking centre stage (pic with Beckham, above). Other current Maserati models also on display at the event included the flagship MC20 Cielo super sports car, and mid-size luxury SUV, Grecale, in range topping Trofeo form, with its V6 engine and 523 bhp.
Beckham is Maserati’s Global Brand Ambassador.
