Barry Keoghan’s New Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch Bi-Colour

Barry Keoghan is one of the movie industry’s fast emerging young talents, one of the great young character actors of our day, an Academy Award nominee and BAFTA winner.  The thing about Keoghan – with a lot of his roles you do a double-take to see that’s it’s him. That’s what we love about him.

In The Banshees of Inisherin, in his portrayal of Dominic Kearney, there’s the emotional scene with the character Siobhan Suilleabhain (Kerry Condon), where the young man sweetly and awkwardly expresses his love for Condon’s character, one of many pieces of gold that really marked that fine film. Anyway, you get the point, and we’re looking forward to seeing what Keoghan delivers next. He’s also known for an expressive style off-screen, especially on red carpets. OMEGA sees it – and have named Keoghan their latest “Friend of the Brand”. He’s often accessorizing his style with chosen OMEGA models – the Speedmaster ’57 and a 1930’s Lepine “Sideros” pocket watch, which he wore to this year’s Met Gala.

This time, he’s wearing a Speedmaster Moonwatch – the brand has a new Bi-Colour version that combines stainless steel and 18K Moonshine Gold in one design. The sun-brushed silvery dial is framed by a black ceramic bezel, featuring the iconic tachymeter scale in OMEGA Ceragold, while the contrasting subdials are also presented in galvanic 18K Moonshine Gold. The bi-colour model worn by Keoghan here, and another in stainless and 18K Sedna Gold, is powered by the Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 3861. Price is $24,600 CDN and is available in Canada at the OMEGA boutique in Vancouver.
