Audemars Piguet and its recently appointed Creative Conduit, longtime friend of the brand John Mayer, hosted a celebratory event at Sky View Estate to honour the launch of their latest collaboration, the Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar “John Mayer” Limited Edition.
The Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar “John Mayer” is named after the watch collector and seven-time GRAMMY Award-winning artist who created to the creation of the watch, limited to 200 pieces, with its deep blue dial, 18-carat white gold.
Joined by Mayer’s and Audemars Piguet’s Los Angeles family in the music, entertainment, and fashion industries, as well as John Mayer’s notable guests, Dominique Crenn, Maria Bello, Finneas, Zedd, and Chris Stapleton, the event was hallmarked by special, celebratory moments. Guests engaged with an astronomer, Sandy Eulitt, from Stellar Experiences, on an immersive journey through the elements of the timepiece. Attendees stargazed through telescopes while Sandy’s guided storytelling illuminated parallels between visible constellations, the sky’s moon phase and its connection to the movement and the dial of the Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar “John Mayer” timepiece.
Attendees enjoyed music by renowned musician, producer, actor, and writer Questlove, whose curation of the evening’s entertainment included tapping DJ Novena Carmel to sonically introduce a spirited yet intimate environment. The Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar “John Mayer” and its midnight-toned, constellation-glittered dial were echoed throughout the Sky View Estate, with decorative elements and details woven into culinary and mixology offerings.
