Ian Harvey spent five years as a child in Japan before returning to England and immigrating to Canada in the 1970s. He spent 23 years in daily newspapers before moving into marketing and then in 2004 launching his freelance career at Pitbullmedia.ca.
Over the years he has written for Reader’s Digest, The Globe and Mail, the Toronto Star, the National Post and other specialty magazines and publications. He also creates corporate communications, provides background research for corporate clients and offers media training and media crisis consultation.
In between, he’s traveled the world, indulging his passion for scuba diving, skiing, gourmet dining while seeking adventures, meeting new people and absorbing different languages and cultures.
